FOR PEOPLE WHO USE MARKERS! Ohuhu(or any marker, even copic) are not good in Jade Summer books. The Paper is too thin and the ink bleeds soo much. Drinks up way too much ink and feathers out over the lines as well. This can be annoying and off putting for people using alcohol markers who are new. Do not get jade summer if you use markers!!! Get ColorIt or even Crayola Adult coloring books those are more suited for mixed media because the paper is thick. Trust me I was a beginner a couple months ago and had to find all this out the hard way and I wasted some money because of it. I sometimes use colored pencils but I’m mostly an alcohol marker girl. I finally found a bunch of adult coloring books that are well suited for markers. Barnes and Noble have some great adult coloring books. Go through them and the books with thicker paper and are one sided are the ones to get for markers! ColorIt from Amazon and Crayola adult coloring books(I got the mindful mandala one and that’s the one I started with). If you like cute drawings then Coco Wyo is a great author. Google her and you’ll find her books on Amazon. The paper is thiner but the alcohol markers lay down nicely. Ink feathers a bit but not as much as jade summer books. Bobbie Goods books are amazing but they can be pricey and they sell out fast, that’s because the quality is good. You can also print out your own images. Make sure to get card-stock paper or make sure the papers weight is high or use marker paper to print out your own coloring pages. I found cardstock to be the best. Anymore questions lmk. Does anyone know if Pamela ever made a video of the 150 set of Crayolas or of she ever did one in which she added the Colors of the World and Colors of Kindness? Did she say the Colors of Kindness are in the 150 pack? I have several hundred Crayolas including the 150 pack and Colors of the World, as well as quite a few we've had around the house since my kiddos were in grade school. The kids didn't want them anymore, so I added them to my collection and I'm having trouble organizing them. I think what I'll do is maybe just put them in the order Pamela has them in this video and figure out the others that aren't in the 120 set myself. That's either going to be lots of fun or a huge headache. Lol.

The bubbles on your coloring page look like you used lighter blues. I like both though. Thanks for the tutorial!

This is super helpful. I finally went out and got my own physical color wheel and followed along. I didn’t realize how much of a difference it makes instead of using my google image of a color wheel. I was being stubborn for so long thinking I was saving money. But now Im saving so much time . Totally worth it❤ thank you so much

I don't have muave, sage, begie, cream, tan, periwinkle, aqua, lilac, jade, seaglass, eggshell, anything like a pastel Naples yellow or any pastel magenta-like colors and I can't make them because my only white pencil(Farber Castell ergonomics 24 pack by the way) decided it's lead was done being used. I remember that day vivdly when I couldn't sharpen it anymore. RIP ⬜️!

She may have made some of the positive affirmations, but I recognize some of them. Like for example, when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. I think they would have come from places like Wayne Dyer books, or Esther and Abraham Hicks books. I would expect to see one like, “if it is to be, it is up to me.”

Are the colours in this set a duplicate or already available in other sets?

Crayola is a fantastic medium. Artist these days I feel buy supplies because someone said so rather then from experience. Crayola has a stigma of being for children and are cheap so they over look the hidden gem that they are when majority don’t even know how to properly work with an oil base. Crayola is soft, they blend well, have fantastic pigment and don’t break the bank. Thank you for this video and helping to end the stigma. I was fortunate enough to be around the art community throughout college and growing up around a lot of artists. Very few pulled out faber or prisma…. 😉

I use gelly roll pens, haven't ever used any others I don't have to "scratch" them on paper, is this normal for most gel pens?

I got the 48 set. Other ppls were sharpened very well, except mine. The tip was short and not long like others idk if this quality thing

Kalour has awesome customer service! I bought the 240 set back in 2021 and recently when I sorted it into a storage case, I realized I had a duplicate of one pencil and was missing another one. I contacted them and they said they could not send individual pencils, so they sent me another brand new 240 pencil set in less than 48hrs. None of the expensive brands can compete with that level of service.😊😊

What is the best paper to print out the color swatching pages on? Printer paper? Pencil paper?
